Wow! Then, it must be a very special month. But, the way Muslims portray it over here makes me feel it's all about food and partying. Many students take it as an excuse to not do their work.

Not all of them, who make most of attent him the food that is big mistake! and this not that God dictated us. The worship between person and another person is different and that depend on the believess in a muslim's heart because the believess is increase and decrease !

I know the Kabsa dish. It's delicious and very hard to cook. I'm not familiar with Qorsan. Is it a soup at the end? Or a main dish?

Qorsan is main dish. I searched from picture for it, but I am not found a good picture, sorry: )

Frankly speaking, it's hard for me to tell the difference between someone from Bahrain, let's say, and another from Saudi. Are there any markers I can pay attention to to tell people apart?

You can know this person from any country from kaleej from clothes the clothes is alike but be simple difference. Also the speaking, you can singling between them from a dialect. Finally, some country is effulging in some dishes such as Bahrin's sweet that it is made in Bahrin.
