This is the first subject for me in the Al- ma3ali forum so I hope to be fit for you


Last year I worked on project about crosswords . As we enjoy in this game now let to leanr
more about this game.




The crossword was invented in1913.It was invented by Aurther Wynne.He come from Liverpool but emigrated to American.He was the editor of an American newspaper which called New York World. It was puplished every Sunday.




In December 1913,when Sunday was near to come and there was an empty spase in the newspapers new version.First,Aurther Wynne begin to think how to fill this area in the newspaper.Then he begin to write agroup of word,eatch word begin with the last letter of the word that preceded.Finally, he reached the idea of the crossword puzzles.



The first newspaper with crossword was printed in Sunday21December1913. People enjoyed it very much.Later in1924,apublished institution called simon, puplished abook that contained crossword puzzle and it had agifted pen,too!!!
